This kit converts a standard class A/B dual 6L6GC power amp to a dual EL34 power amp. Changing the screen grid resistors along with altering the bias circuit is required for this modification. All parts necessary to complete the conversion are included along with detailed picture instructions. A matched pair of EL34 tubes is included with the kit.

This kit will require several tools. If you don't have these tools, we have them available!

Because the EL34 draws more filament current than the 6L6GC, it is not recommended to do this mod on amps with more than two power tubes. The kits are not available without the included power tubes.

Hi, this kit was designed for older Fender amps that were not build on a PCB's (Printed Circuit Boards).

This is a permanent mod to the amp in the sense that you are removing/adding components by soldering connections.

This modification was designed to modify Black face and Silver Face Fender amps from the 60's through the 80's. We are unable to verify if this will work for the amp in question, and advise you consult a professional repair tech.
