Is the same jack used for line out and input on 88 fender sidekick bassman?
Asked by petermsouzasr on September 24th, 2016.
We are unsure if this is the same jack as your Fender Sidekick. It will work in any situation that calls for a mono jack with 4 PCB terminals as depicted in the picture.

Is there another option for this jack?
Asked by Anonymous on March 14th, 2017.
This jack can be replaced with the higher quality Switchcraft 12a jack. Using the numbers above, you connect 1 to the ground, 2 to the tip, and 4 to the switch (or shorting) lug. 5 doesn't need to be connected as it goes straight to 2 anyway. It's important to use nylon washers to keep the 12a jack from touching the chassis. It's a more expensive solution, but far more durable.

We are unsure if this is the correct part for your amp. The best thing to do in this situation is to remove the bad jack and do a visual examination.

Replacing an input jack (J1) on a Fender Super 112 combo. I removed the bad jack and noticed there are only 3 pins. The J1 PCB footprint has 4 thru holes. Does this 4 pin replacement jack use all 4 pins or should I clip off pin 6? Thanks for your time!

Unfortunately we are not amp techs and would not be able to advise you in this situation.

We do not have sufficient cross reference materials to confirm this jack is used in that amp.

Exact replacement, easy to change out the bad input jacks in my Bassman 60.
Works just fine. Good replacement

Perfect replacement for the original Fender jack that was broken in my amp (Fender Frontman 15R). I had a problem with my card (my bank fault) and a email to AmplifiedParts solved it very quickly even if it was no theri fault).I highly recommend this product and AmplifiedParts.
