1 answers Is the same jack used for line out and input on 88 fender sidekick bassman?
1 answers Is there another option for this jack?

This jack can be replaced with the higher quality Switchcraft 12a jack. Using the numbers above, you connect 1 to the ground, 2 to the tip, and 4 to the switch (or shorting) lug. 5 doesn't need to be connected as it goes straight to 2 anyway. It's important to use nylon washers to keep the 12a jack from touching the chassis. It's a more expensive solution, but far more durable.

1 answers Replacing an input jack (J1) on a Fender Super 112 combo. I removed the bad jack and noticed there are only 3 pins. The J1 PCB footprint has 4 thru holes. Does this 4 pin replacement jack use all 4 pins or should I clip off pin 6? Thanks for your time!
