Vacuum Tube - 12AX7-A, Triode, Dual, High MU

In stock

New-Old-Stock (NOS) tube.

The 12AX7-A is a miniature high-mu twin triode each section of which has an individual cathode connection. The 12AX7-A is especially suited for use in resistance-coupled voltage amplifiers, phase inverters, multivibrators, and numerous industrial-control circuits where high voltage gain is desired. A center-tapped heater permits operation of the tube from either a 6.3 volt or a 12.6 volt heater supply. Use of the 12AX7-A is advantageous in applications that require low hum and microphonic output.

Our stock will be comprised of various, mostly American, NOS tube manufacturers. Since stock is always changing please call us at 480-820-5411 for our current offerings.

The differences will be in spec and possibly some tonal characteristics but you do not have to bias preamp tubes so you can just replace your current tubes with these.

Did a eunuch carry them on a pillow and place them with silken glove in a unicorn's butt to test for mirophonics? No, but they test as new, the ones I got had boxes and tubes in beautiful if not immaculate condition, and sell for 1/2 of what the "snake oil" website sell the same, OEM, and ones out of box with faded paint that test new for.
My amps have never sounded like this, I can never go back. NOS are worth it.
Take a chance and order, or call a salesperson to see what they have.
My tone and playing will never regret getting these.
