I ordered this part because I didn't like the Chet Atkins handle that came on my Epiphone Swingster. The new part was exceptionally well made and well polished. However, the true Bigsby part did not quite fit the tailpiece that came on my offshore made Epiphone. I had to drill out the hole just slightly larger. This probably voided any warranty and almost surely eliminated the chance of a return. But when the job was done it worked perfectly,and much improved both the visual aspect and the playability. Also, Epiphone does not make a case that accomodated the Atkins arm. But I have now purchased an after market case that works very well with the flat arm. Just something to think about with this guitar and its original parts. Epiphone should make a case that will work with this guitar at the time of purchase.
