The 6CB6A is a miniature pentode designed for use as a radio-frequency or intermediate-frequency amplifier in television receivers. Features of the tube include high transconductance and low interelectrode capacitances. The suppressor and cathode terminals are brought out to separate base pins to permit the use of an unbypassed cathode-bias resistor to minimize the effects of regeneration.
