I purchased these basically because I’ve always admired Jensen’s as being a great speaker. I needed some nice speakers for a 210 cab and decided to stick with Jensen’s. I spent the extra money and went with these vs the falcons. The cleans are fantastic, clear and has exceptional voicing. However when any sort of overdrive is engaged the characteristic of this speaker drastically changes. It loses the bassiness somewhat and the treble is like a harsh ice pick. It was absolutely the worst overdriven sound I’ve heard from a set of speakers. When you adjust your amp/pedals to make it sound halfway acceptable then your clean tone is muddy, bassy and the speaker carries flub because of how much you have to turn the bass up to accommodate the loss When pedals are used. Even slight overdrives are the same. Where any pedal would get the sweet warm sound these speakers turns it into a nightmarish display of harshness. I hate to leave anything negative but I have to be honest here. I avoided the p10r for this reason but even they sound better. I gave it 1 star because the cleans sound great but even a clean boost sends these speakers into some sort of high end harshness that’s not even pleasant. Maybe the 12s sound better but I’d avoid the 10s

Im a Weber Loyalist and for good reason, but i really like these "Electric Lighting" speakers. They are,(to my ears) very very simillar to the Ipswich made Celestions from the 70's and early 80's, which were installed in all of the JMP and JCM800 - type amps of that period, and I suspect thats what Jensen was shooting for here. A good Value.

I installed 1 Electric Lightning Jensen in my Peavey Delta Blues 210 with 1 Celestion Greenback g10 and these two speakers sound great together. With the Electric Lightning you get more grit and with the Greenback you get more creamy tone and with them together its just super smooth with some hard edge which I like a lot.

Great speak and worth trying out.
