Vacuum Tube - KT88, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic KT88 is a sonically faithful reproduction of the original tubes with a robust construction encased in a thick glass envelope. The JJ KT88 delivers a powerful 42 Watts with plenty of headroom to spare. This tube has a tone that is warm and lively with a detailed and balance response. The JJ KT88 is an excellent choice for Hi-Fi stereo equipment as well as guitar amplifiers. It can be used in place of 6550 tubes.

Product Reviews
So these JJ KT88's and JJ 6550's are my favorite power tubes in my Marshallz. The KT88's bottom end is more pronounced and rounder. I'd say even solo notes are rounder. Clear, articulate, and bouncy. Im happy with either 6550's or these. Glad I spent the money to find out. Had a few guitarists recommend the KT88's since i could use them in my amps. They were right.
This is the first time I have used KT88 vacuum tubes for my vintage Harmon Kardon Citation II audio amplifier. One of the four power tubes proved to be intermittently defective but Amplified replaced it. Nice clean sound, and virtually no hum.
Depending on the amp, this tube can be noisy or whisper quiet
Amazing tubes. They work perfectly and we're packaged well. I'm sure I'll get years out of these.
I bought a quad of these JJ kt88's. Along with a pair of Bugle Boy 12at7 and RCA 12ax7 long black plates installed them in a Jolida 502 amp. I was sure surprised by how nice they are over the Gold Lion kt88 quad I had in it. They are built much better also.
