Product Reviews
Great preamp tube. No noise, non existent microphonics lead to a super quiet tube. Nice highs that don’t bleed ears, mids are percussive and bass is tight. It’s in V3 of my Revv Gen 120 4ch. In V1 it’s really nice as well but for me a Gold Lion GP is better for the Generator. In a 5153 or similar amp the tung sol shines in most positions.
Honestly the best sounding preamp tube to my ears. You can't go wrong getting at least one and putting it in the first slot. You will really hear the difference.
Tubes run great in my Fender '65 Twin Reverb reissue. Customer service was very kind and professional.
The tung sol 12ax7 gold pin is an excellent 12ax7/803 preamp tube, low microphonics, nice midd gain, I have use the standard and gold pin.. I find the gold pin higher quality tube.. Use in my Bogner 101b and Fuchs custom Wildcard 100 D style amp in V1 for all channel. Highly recommend this tube.
This tube changed the sound of my amp !
That’s a positive change. I’ve searched for that elusive sound for 60 years, but when my friend Carl recommend your tubes, I’m so glad that my mind was open to guidance, because he was absolutely on the money. Thanks for a great product. Ray White
I replaced an ageing NOS in my Victoria deluxe. Very nice, sound - fluid and perfect for this amp.
I compared several 12AX7 tubes. The Tung Sol is pretty good. It's a little hotter and brighter than the Mullard CV4004 which was my favorite.
Tubes arrived quickly and at a good price. The tubes themselves are quiet and give my amp a very smooth sound and attack. I would purchase them again. They sound as good as some more expensive vintage tubes I've used.
Great tubes ,no microphonics and really nice sound .i am very pleased with them .i am running them in fender 65 reissue twin reverb.
Bought 3 to replace microphonic tubes in my Monoprice 15W amp. Sound great and absolutely no hint of microphonics.
