Finally a dedicated guitar speaker for amp modellers and IRs. The F12-X200 is a truly full range driver that delivers a frequency response from 60Hz all the way up to 20kHz the higher frequency part of the signal is reproduced using a Celestion compression driver which has been integrated using a high quality crossover circuit. This enables the F12-X200 to reproduce the full spectrum of audible frequencies for the most accurate output possible whatever your environment and set-up.

The F12-X200’s response is remarkably neutral with Celestion technology built in to ensure there are no unwanted colourations that can overpower the input signal. However the lighter moving mass and straighter sided cone of the type commonly used with guitar speakers gives the X200 the feel and live response of a traditional guitar speaker delivering all the physical feedback you’d expect from playing through a conventional guitar rig.

Used with amp modellers or IRs in a backline cab or a wedge monitor on stage or in the studio it doesn’t just sound like great guitar tone it feels like it too.

Great for Fractal AxeFX III and other modelers. I installed one of these speakers in a Boogie extended 1x12 cab and it sounds so clear and rich. I get true FRFR - it was impressive to hear what I had been missing prior, and now I can choose speaker cabinet emulations and actually hear the difference. Well worth the cash. Highly recommended. I am buying two more (I owen 2 now) and putting them in a pair of 2x12 Recto cabs I have. Looking forward to my pants flapping! Yeehah!

Installed this in a Friedman 112 Vintage cab to use with an HX Stomp and Seymour Duncan Powerstage 200.
Some of the cabinet IR's need a little tweaking but overall this is a great sounding speaker for its intended purpose.

Bought two of these to use with an axefx3. My headrush FRFR12s and yamaha hs50m studio monitors sounded great but we're just missing something. These celestions loaded in cabs I built to celestion specs were exactly what I was looking for. I will not go back to using monitors or plastic cabs after playing thru these. They just FEEL WAY BETTER. I'm using a class H 530watt per channel stereo power amp to drive these. You want plenty of clean power and lots of headroom to play these loud. I just don't go past 1oclock on the amp gain and use the axefx output to control volume. Also I set the speaker resonance around 75 in the amp block to match the cabs. People having bad experiences with these are either clipping them, using a class D amp, or loading them in a non spec cab. Buy these. Build the correct cabs. They are awesome.

I am using this speaker with an ART SLA-2 and a Fractal Axe-FX II. Previously I was running Celestion Vintage 30s and since moving to these speakers it has opened all the different tones and nuances of the modeler. This speaker is a true full range speaker in comparison to the Vintage 30s (which has rolloff maybe around the 10khz. mark). I had to change my tone settings to adjust to the full range but that is not a bad thing since now I have full control all the way up to 20khz. The subtle highs that I was missing before are now adding to the creaminess of the tone. I highly recommend giving these speakers a test. I don't know if they are available in a cabinet, but I placed them into Seismic Audio Luke cabinets and they sound great and fit perfect.

I recently purchased a Quilter 200 watt guitar amp along with the matching 1x12 speaker cab. Apparently, the supplied speaker is actually a bass guitar speaker, so it sounds a little dark with both my guitars and keyboards. I decided to add another speaker which will also raise the rig higher off the ground. I also decided to build a matching cab as the Quilter cabs are a bit pricey, especially since I won't be using the supplied speaker. So searching for a speaker, I came across the F12-X200. I liked that it could handle the power from the amp by itself, and the 2 way construction appealed to me, especially for use with my keyboards and acoustic guitars. It does not disappoint. Very balanced frequency response, and it extends to 20kHz, just like a PA speaker. I would describe the sound as very accurate and clean, even at higher volumes.
