I was a little concerned with the lack of a countersink. With that in mind I proceeded to drive 36 of them into various locations on a vintage Marshall amplifier I was refurbishing for a friend. As you can see in the picture, they worked great, and look beautiful. The teeth on the shank of the rivet should hold in that existing hole very well.
