I REALLY like these jacks. I purchased these Neutrik jacks for a project: NMJ6HFD2-AU and they DO NOT grab anywhere near as well as the Rean jacks. Come on. Great value!

Kind of scary looking at first but a very practical and most often used Jack found in a lot of different type Amplifiers. Often refered to as a Stereo Jack or T-R-S (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) type you can quickly convert it to a MONO Jack if needed in a hurry. Just take a small pair of side cutting pliers and cut out the center leg pin that goes in the Printed Circuit Board. Now take a needle file and file what is left sticking up down even with the bottom of the jack so it fits flush on the Printed Circuit Board when you install it. No need to try and remove the Center contacts because they are touching the ground side of your jack plug anyway and add extra stability holding the plug in place. Works great if you need a Mono Jack in a hurry and don't have one.
