Reverb Tank - Mod® 8AB2A1B, Medium Decay, 3-Spring

Question:
I have a MOD reverb tank P-MOD-8ab2a1b in a a Blues JR iii. The reverb goes into oscillation and feedback quickly. When I only allow the center conductor of the red rca cable to touch the output of the jack it is subdued. But when the outer portion of the red rca cable touches, the signal is louder and the oscillation and feedback begins. Perhaps you know what the issue is and how to fix it?

Answer:
The input impedance of an 8AB2A1B tank is 10Ω while the stock tank for a Blues Jr. (8EB2C1B) has an input impedance of 800Ω. The issues you are experiencing are likely due to the wrong tank being used in that amp.
