The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Used this to replace the broken Accutronics tank in a 2005 Hot Rod Deluxe. I went with this medium decay vs the stock long decay based on forum reviews, and it sounds great and has more usable range on the dial.
Great price, quick shipping, and easy to replace.

As always, great sales and service with AP...This fixed my reverb problem but it sounds like the Peavey is on it's last leg..lol
I'll have a tech do some checks on it asap.

This was my second purchase of a MOD reverb tank as an upgrade to OEM units (Vox AC15 was my first).
I installed this unit into a Traynor YCV50B amp. This amp came stock with an Accutronics unit. What a huge improvement to my ears did this reverb unit make.
The decay rolls off more slowly with a very smooth reverb effect. This unit does not negatively color the guitar/amps tone until you turn it up to 9.5 - 10. At this point the bass drops out and it sounds more trebly but stills sounds good. However at that point there's way too much reverb effect for me, so it's not a big deal.
I highly recommend MOD reverb tanks as an upgrade to OEM units. You can't go wrong.

Installed this tank into my Peavey Ultra 120 plus head...original unit had broken spring...plugged right in to factory harness, bolt patterns lined up perfectly...sound is fantastic...clean, no noise and great depth and trails...I highly recommend this replacement unit and have zero complaints...shipped promptly, received in perfect condition...10 out of 10 !!
