Nut - Graphite, for Gibson, slotted
This graphite nut will work for most Gibson® and similar style guitars and basses. It is slotted but does require final shaping and fitting to exact size.
PLEASE NOTE: Because this nut tapers in both thickness from top to bottom and height on the fret board side vs. the headstock side all measurements for those dimensions were taken at the center of the nut.
- Length = 1 ~\frac{23}{32}~ inches (43.75mm)
- Height #1 (fretboard side) = ~\frac{5}{16}~ inches (7.81mm)
- Height #2 (headstock side) = ~\frac{9}{32}~ inches (7mm)
- Thickness at bottom = ~\frac{15}{64}~ inches (6.1mm)
- Thickness at top = ~\frac{3}{16}~ inches (4.78mm)

I don’t think this is a actual graphite nut and it it is it is extremely cheaply made however everything else I have ever ordered has been top quality.
Do not waste your money. I ordered 3 (1 for immediate use, 2 for shop stock) and no amount of sanding and/or filing will ever make any of them usable. Just one example of the crappiness: the amount of material that has to be removed in order to square the nut up against the fret board is about 2 mm, approx 25% of the nut. Garbage.
