Speaker - Jensen® Vintage Ceramic, 12", C12K, 100W
While not strictly a vintage reissue, the C12K is the first design that Jensen developed in the early ‘90s. It is tonally inspired by the classic vintage ceramic Jensen, but with a substantially stronger voice, full bass and smooth top end. The C12K became one of the speakers of choice for Fender®, used in a myriad of world-selling models. Vintage tone with modern power handling and dynamics are the key virtues of the C12K.
Guitarist Description: A real workhorse, heavy on the mids with a solid, straightforward tone. Presented with overdrive distortion it powers through with lows that are bold and heavy.

I bought this speaker to install in my Fender `65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue Amp. It is the same as the speaker that came in this amp but I had installed a Jensen 12" Electric Lightning 70 in it a few years ago to brighten up the sound a bit. This proved to be a little too bright so I decided to go back to what was originally in the amp (the original Jensen C12K now resides in the extension cabinet for my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Amp). Jensen speakers are good solid performers with a reputation that goes back decades. Fender made a real good choice using them in some of their amps and I`m happy with the sound of this new C12K in this amp. What will I do with the 12" Electric Lightning 70? Well... I have a Fender Blues Jr. Amp ...
This is my favourite speaker. It has such a sweet sound and it's never too boomy. I'd highly recommend it for all styles of music. It's the stock speaker in my deluxe reverb and I had to get another one so I could have that familiar sound in a different cab. Amplified parts shipped it out very fast!
This speaker unbeknownst to me is what Fender now puts into their reissue Deluxe Reverbs. It replaces an aging Oxford in my own DRRI and the sonic improvement after the install was astounding. Deeper lows without flapping, tighter midrange and smoother highs, totally bringing the character of this venerable amp in line with my expectations.
