Report Review for product Vacuum Tube - 6L6WGS, Black Plate, Short Bottle, Made in China

I've used a few quads of these in Peavey ValveKing heads & they were FANTASTIC! So this is my 'go to' tube for 6L6's. I have since acquired a Kustom Defender V30 combo tube amp that normally runs EL34's in it but it can also take 6L6's via a bias switch.
I tried a matched pair of these in the Kustom & they definitely thickened up the sound & tone. Made my Les Paul sound really FAT! I didn't take a lot of tweaking time with the amp to get it sparklie but I'm guessing I just need to sit down and experiment.
Overall, from my testing, these are the BEST tubes for 6L6. They make the sound more 3-D, there's a wonderful sound blossom on chords & the notes just jump out... and all from just a tube replacement. They're reasonably priced too if you need a pair. And did I mention they're a matched set for pairs or quads? Gotta love that feature. Thanks Amplified Parts!
