This is a good KT88, one of three new production KT88 tubes I will buy. The other two are both New Sensor, the Electroharmonix and the Gold Lion. With all due respect to the reviewer with the THD, an amp that is safe to use with anything from a 6Y6 to a KT88, is going to sound best at one end of the range or the other. Im betting its not the KT88's end of the range. Your Univalve probably really likes a 6V6GT or a 5881.This Tube belongs in a Jolida, Dynaco or HIWATT.

I bought this tube just for my THD Univalve. It is not very musical, sounded thin and weak. There was no freq. that worked with this tube in my amp. I told amplified parts about it and they let me return it, I give them 5 stars *****!

I have them in my Marshall and it was like night and day difference really like the tone I am getting, and they produce rich tone. Good job guys!
