I got these in a Quad set to go with my first build of a Dynaco
ST-35 kit and also got a set of JJ 12DW7s from here . For me
this tube combination does good .The Valve Arts have an
excellent low end and overall smooth response all the way to
the top . If your looking for a descant 6BQ5 at a low cost
this would be it . As for a musician i cant answer that one .Have fun !!
