I have used the EH EL-34 in the outside sockets of my Mesa/Boogie Mark 3 Simulclass amp. This tube sounds the best for my amp. It is very musical and has a pleasant overdrive quality as well as good clean tone.

I bought these tubes for my sovtek mig 60 and the amp came alive. Very good low end and crisp highs!

This is one of the Best EL34 types being made and the only "Seimens/RFT" type left in production. Its not an exact duplicate of the straight - glass,dimpled top,German EL34 of the 1970's but very close.Electroharmonix is the flagship brand of the New Sensor familly of brands which includes Mullard, Tungsol and Gold Lion, and are among the best currently in production. The EH EL34, the Tungsol EL34B, the Mullard EL34 RI, and the Gold Lion KT77 are all top shelf power tubes and I defy anyone to find a Chinese Equivalent that holds up to any of those in the tone and performance departments.
