I bought a new guitar that was set up badly. Didn't want to pay $60 again to get a set up so i figured I'd try to learn on my own. I've been reading for years to 'leave it to the professional' when it comes to set ups. I've never really done anything like this before so I was a little hesitant but the instructions are good.With the kit I adjusted the action and adjusted the truss rod. The guitar plays much much better than it was before. It's still not perfect but hey, it was my first time, and I'm still better off than if i had gone to a tech.The tools are high quality - I don't expect to ever have an issue with them. Overall I've very happy with the purchase. I know I'll be using it often
This kit and the instructions that come with it are so choice! I just moved to a new town and haven't been able to find a guitar tech who can set up my Strat the way I like it. This tool kit gave me the power to finally do it myself and now my Strat plays like a dream.
