I bought this speaker to replace the Blue Marvel speaker in my Peavey Classic 30 combo amp. I was pleasantly surprised to hear how it improved my sound. The Blue Marvel was harsh and brittle in the high end but the Jensen Neo had a smooth sounding high end that wasn't brittle but very musical and the low end was tight and powerful. It gave me a beautiful hi-fi clean tone but also sounded great with distortion. Also, it took about 5-6 pounds off the weight of the amp. I now want to buy Jensen Neos for all of my amps!
