If you want to learn the basics about effects building, this is a great place to start. Some of the IC's may be kind of hard to find, but there is plenty of info on the internet about the projects in this book that tell you what you need to do to substitute other IC's. This book is a classic among DIY'ers and a must have for anyone getting into building their own effects.
