MOD 8EB2C1B Reverb Tank
SKU: P-RMOD-8EB2C1B
RoHS Compliant
| Price: | $16.50 |
The MOD Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the MODs and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference.
The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960's were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Product Reviews
Excellent replacement in my Peavey Backstage. Small and compact, smooth and responsive. You can't beat it for the price. mc
Only 9$ shipping charge to Croatia?
And the thing works great!
One more satisfied customer. . . :-)
A very noticeable and inexpensive improvement to the stock reverb tank that came with my Fender Stage 100 amp. This reverb tank hugely improved both the depth and roundness of the reverb tone, and I'm really enjoying it! Based on other reviews I've seen here, I will order another one for my Blues Junior.
BTW - kudos to Amplified Parts - good pricing, great quality and excellent service. This is the way that all businesses should be! Thanks A/P - Ken.
Wow - nice compact tank with all the goodies - isolated in and out, shock-absorbing mounts and all in a compact, well-built package. Just the ticket for DIY amp builders - thanks!
The Blues Jrs Achilles heel is the reverb tank by Accutronics...so why buy another Accutronics? On my previous BJr I went with the Ruby Tubes replacement and it worked very well.
My buddy's tank has been bad on his BJr for over a year, I agreed to help him replace it and then went to work trying to find a Ruby, which appears to be more difficult to find recently...so I was pleasantly surprised to find this "Mod" tank at such a great price. First look at the pics, looks like the Ruby tank I was after...and after receiving the "Mod" tank, Im 99% convinced this is the same tank, and the sound is just as lovely!
Once the tank was installed, turning the reverb to 12 was just as acceptable as any other level...lots of useful range, great tank, with an even better price...fix that Blues Jr today!
Bonus: Using a Strat-Talk sponsor!
I look forward to doing more business with Amplified Parts!
Thanks from Sprocket
I recently bought a Fender Stage 100 Amp head (MIM) on Craigslist. Sounds great, but reverb did not work. I'd never replaced a tank before, but Amplifiedparts.com made it simple. I placed the order, and received notification that the item had shipped on the same day. Also - I had sent a comment with my order asking for them to confirm the dimensions from mounting hole to mounting hole - not expecting much. I received a personal e-mail from a representative confirming the dimensions! It's funny how the little extra details improve the shopping experience so dramatically. I would definitely buy from them again, and recommend them to everyone!
well built, good deal for the money, adequate sound.
