The MOD Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the MODs and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Replaced the broken reverb tank in a Crate V-32 with the 4BBC1B. The reverb sound is very nice - but certainly it is not an overpowering reverb. I need to keep the reverb knob at the half way point for a nice reverb (most reverbs I have used 9 o'clock is more than enough). Shipping was very prompt and the product was well packaged. Thanks very much. I would definately order more stuff from Amplified Parts.

Replaced the weak Accutronics tank with the MOD in my Marshall JCM2000 head. Nice mellow reverb to wide open shimmer, very nice. I'd recommend these tanks to anyone needing a replacement.

I installed the MOD 4BB3C1B Reverb Tank on my Crate Palomino as a replacement for the OEM short 2-spring Belton unit. The MOD tank is well-built and it works great. The service I got from Amplified parts was above average. The item shipped right away and was very well packaged.
