I bought this to switch the channels and effects loop on my Crate TDP preamp Works perfect, even the leds light. I used it to replace a bigger Peavey footswitch I had on my pedal board. Steel enclosure with heavy duty switches. The cable is about 12-15 feet with a molded plug. I would imagine this will last a long, long time.
